YPT Boston - Greenway Links Lunch and Learn

Come learn about the multiple initiatives that are improving greenways in and around Boston, and also listen to exciting presentations from planners, designers, engineers + advocates that participated in the Boston Society of Architect's summer charrette on the Greenway Links. The charrette was an intensive 8-week design project that involved diverse teams comprised of private, non-profit and public sector employees. Each team created design solutions to connect different sections of Boston's greenway system.

Alice Brown will introduce the charrette participants, and describe the multiple initiatives that are occurring to make Boston's greenway system more connected. Afterwards, members of several of the teams that participated in the charrette will present on the project area . In order to hear from as many of the teams as possible, the presentations will be limited to 5 minutes, and the most exciting ideas and concepts the teams developed will be showcased.

YPT Boston Transportation Trivia Night

Test your transportation knowledge at our Transportation Trivia Night! YPT Boston is teaming up with the New England Institute of Transportation Engineers (NEITE), the Massachusetts Institute of Transportation Engineers (MAITE), and the MIT Transportation Club for a night of trivia at Lir on Boylston on Tuesday, November 18. Trivia starts promptly at 6:30PM, so plan to arrive a little early to get settled at your table.

There is no cost for the event. Free appetizers will be provided to each table! Form your own teams (up to six people), or we will help you form a team when you arrive.

Fall Membership Drive Raffle winners will be announced at Trivia. All YPT Boston members will be entered, with additional entries for every event attended since September. Prizes include a $100 gift card to Top of the Hub, a $100 gift card to Ten Tables, a $50 gift card to Park Restaurant and Bar, and a $15 gift card to Tavern in the Square. Note that you do not have to be present at trivia to win a prize.
