Jeff Speck is a notable city planner and urban designer with an impressive career working and advocating for smart growth and sustainable design on an international level. His recent book, Walkable City: How Downtown Can Save America, One Step at a Time, was the best selling planning/design title of 2013. Come hear Jeff discuss his thoughts and insights into urban planning, transportation, and sustainable design. There will be time for questions and answers following the talk. You won't want to miss this great opportunity!

This event will be located in the 2nd floor conference rooms of the State Transportation Building. There is a $10 fee for non-members, but the event is free for members! A catered buffet style dinner will be provided. Attendees will be encouraged to gather at a nearby venue afterwards (location TBD) to unwind and enjoy the company of other attendees.
